Leonard holds the Master of Institutional Leadership and Management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI)-Kampala,Bachelor degree of Development Studies from Kyambogo University. He is a Development Worker with bias in institutional and Community Development. His interest is mainly in design and delivery of community development programs, governance and advocacy, strategic planning and institutional development, cultural dynamics and management. He has 6 years of working experience working as a training facilitator in the fields of Livelihoods, Human Rights and Disability. Leonard is currently the Project Manager for the CSU’s “Girl’s Education Challenge project in Kampala”.
He has previous worked as a Livelihoods Training Officer on the Leonard Cheshire Disability Uganda Livelihoods Project from 2011-2014 and Project Coordinator for the CSU EIDHR Human Rights Project implemented in Sironko and Bukwo districts from 2012-2014. Also he worked as a Young Voices Facilitator in the promotion of rights of Persons with Disabilities (2010-2011). Before joining CSU, Leonard worked with Kamwokya Youth Development Association in 2009 as a Community Development Officer. He has vast experience in Project planning and Management, Resource Mobilization, Research and data analysis among others.
