We promote rights based education for children and youth with disabilities through inclusive education interventions. Children with disabilities have a right to study with their peers in mainstream schools. Children with disabilities form the bigger section of children out of school partly because negligence but mostly due to the failure by education systems to put in place an accommodative educational environment for this category of learners. The EFA Global Monitoring Report, 2007 estimated that over 90% of disabled children in Africa do not go to school at all, and of that 72 million primary aged children worldwide that are out of school, one third are disabled. Our education programs aim to increase access to education by Children with Disabilities.
